Phylloceras velledae var. inflata

Phylloceras velledae (Michelin) var. inflata:  This is a large, rare, spectacular, 4.5 inch (11.5 cm) Phylloceras velledae from Madagascar.  The specimen weighs about 20 ounces.  The test is largely intact and beautifuly shows the dense lirae characteristic of genus Phylloceras.
