Manticoceras Hyatt, 1884;   A 3.4" (8.6 cm) x 3" (7.6 cm) x .9" (2.5 cm) polished fossil ammonoid weighing 6 ounces.
An Upper Devonian age fossil ammonoid from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco.
Prepared in Morocco.
The suture pattern and shape of the conch suggest that this is an example of Manticoceras, Suborder Anarcestina Miller & Furnish, 1954, Family Gephuroceratidae Frech, 1901.
