Douvilleiceras sp.

Douvilleiceras sp. Grossouvre, 1894:  This is a hefty Madagascar fossil ammonite split and polished on the interior surfaces. Some of the chambers are filled with clear calcite and show the interior chamber detail. Each half is 3.25 inches (8.2 cm) x 2.5 inches (6.4 cm) x .8 inch (2 cm) thick. Both halves are included.
This large fossil was recovered and prepared in Madagascar.
