D. (Desmoceras) latidorsatum var. inflata

Desmoceras (Desmoceras) latidorsatum (Michelin) var. inflata:  A splendid example of the smaller prepared ammonite specimens coming from Madagascar these days.  This is a classic about 1 1/2 inch (4 cm.) whole well preserved Desmoceras specimen that retains some of the red "ammolite" highlights sometimes seen in Madagascar's Cleoniceras examples.
