Cleoniceras besairiei

Cleoniceras (Grycia) besairiei (Collignon, 1949):  A 2.4 inch (6.1 cm) wide example of Cleoniceras besairiei from Madagascar.  The specimen has been cut in half with the cut faces polished to reveal the interior structure of the animal.  The septum walls are sharp and clear with the cavities filled with golden calcite crystal.
