Madagascar ammonites:  Unlike split and polished ammonite specimens, these fossil ammonites have been polished "in the round."  Each ammonite has been cleaned and polished.  Some have had the original shell completely removed to reveal the exquisite suture markings beneath, others have more complete shells remaining.
