Globidense aegypticusGlobidens was a smaller, specialized mosasaur that lived during the upper Cretaceous period.  The animal was equipped with hard, globular teeth adapted to crushing mollusks, clams, ammonites, and similar prey.  The teeth of Globidens are rare and only recently have become available to the collector.
New studies have identified an additional species of Globidens.  This species, Globidens phosphaticus, is only known from teeth collected from the Moroccan phosphate bed deposits. The morphology of the teeth presented here don't seem to match the descriptions of the phosphaticus species precisely but the descriptions are close, and will require further study to determine the actual species.
The Globidens teeth offered for sale here are all from the phosphate beds of Khouribga, Morocco.
